Let's revive this blog, shall we?

Hello readers!

It's been quite a while, yes?

Six months to be exact.

My last post was the night before Bela Padilla's character was killed. I stopped watching AP after that.

Though I do take a sneak peak from time to time.

A lot has happened since her death. To enumerate:

1. The story has stretched. Like dreamscape milked the show for all its worth.

2. The Philippine drug trade is now one of the major plot drivers of the story.

3. New characters and story arcs were introduced.

4. Glen's character was written off.

5. Cardo is paired with any woman a story arc features (the latest is Yassi Pressman)

6. Aura.

7. Rachel Tuason dies.

8. It is pitted against Encatadia's remake.

9. Much more stuff I can't recall.

With the drug trade running the show's main storyline, it appears that Bela Padilla's character will be revived!

Based on September 30's episode, next week's episode will have Cardo dreaming about Carmen, who pleads him to help her and Ador.

CarCar fans are rejoicing when Bela posted a picture in her twitter account that she's back with AP.

Most of us, if not, well some (because you can't generalize) believe Bela will return as Carmen's long lost twin sister.

I don't know how Dreamscape will play that. But let's safely assume Bela is back with AP as a ghost.

Anyway, regardless how the story unfolds, I'll keep posting on this site!

Cheers!

#FPJAPKPinagkalulong Episode 134

Joaquin is determined to move on as Lorenz launches a direct assault on Cardo's home.

April 5, 2016

Cardo calls Lolo Delfin and expresses that he doesn't want to tell Lorenz Gabriel is behind their mishaps. Delfin advises him it isn't the time to tell Lola Flora the truth.

Lola Flora asks Benny what really happened. Benny tries to elude them but Yolly and Elmo corner him. He still doesn't want to tell the truth and runs away.

Onyok asks Cardo if he's asking help from Lolo Delfin. He tries to pry the truth from Cardo. Cards changes the topic and tells him that they will guard Lola Flora. As Onyok prepares for bed, Cardo reminds him to pray. Onyok prays for God to take care of them especially now that his tito Cardo has made a lot of enemies.

Junior is with Ryan outside a sari-sari store when he receives an SMS from "Carmen". Tomas has texted him "Dalaw tayo bukas". Carmen glares at her father-in-law.

Joaquin is talking with his dad over the phone. He demands to see his wife, but Tomas cut the call. Verna comes in and tells him she tried to convince Tomas to no avail. She apologizes to her son. Joaquin walks out on his mother.

Elmo and Onyok visit a sari-sari store by the Riles. Elmo buys him a piece of candy. Onyok asks if he can go near the train tracks. He is spotted by a bunch of older kids and is bullied. The head honcho of these kids take his candy away. Onyok tells them that lagot sila kay kuya Cardo. The kid retorts he isn't scared of his kuya Cardo.

Lola Flora is surprised to see Onyok crying. Elmo explains he was bullied by the children near the train tracks. Cardo asks what Onyok had done. Onyok cries and tells them he had done nothing wrong. Cardo grabs Onyok's hands to go after the kids. Lola Flora reminds him to take it easy since he's dealing with kids. Cardo tells Lola he wants to talk with kids.

Onyok leads Cardo to the kids who bullied him. The kids aren't scared of him, until Cardo introduces himself as a policeman and wants to speak with their parents. The kids apologize that the incident will never happen again. Cardo tells the "bossing" kid to apologize to Onyok. After apologizing, the boy asks Cardo's name and introduces himself as "Macmac". He shakes with Cardo and comments how cute his name is.

At the CIDG conference room, Delfin thanks Cardo's efforts to discovering the link between Lorenz Gabriel and the motorcycle gang. They surmise that he is still connected with the child trafficking syndicate, hence they will take the case. He tells his men that they will waste no time to hunt Gabriel's group.

Yolly and Lola Flora tell Elmo to eat faster so they can close their carenderia early.

Onyok runs to Lola Flora when he sees Onyok outside their house. Lola Flora asks Macmac why he bullied a little child like Onyok. Macmac explains he came to offer a peace offering and hands him a cellophane full of candies. Yolly wonders kung bati na talaga sila and encourages them to shake hands. Onyok hesitantly accepts Macmac's hand.

Mac asks where Cardo is. Onyok wonders why he's looking for him. Mac has a peace offering to give him as well. Cardo finally appears and asks what Macmac is doing outside their house. Mac gives him the peace offering. Lola Flora instructs to prepare food for him. Cardo sits besides Macmac and places his arm across his shoulders as he tells him something. Onyok witnesses Mac's expressions of Kilig that everyone is oblivious to.

Joaquin is drinking as stares at his wedding photo with Carmen hung across the wall. Rachel knocks and brings him baked cupcakes. She asks what's wrong with him. He tells her it's nothing. His sister understands he misses Carmen and bids him good night

Carmen prays for Lord not to abandon her. She prays for her rescue and her family's safety. However, she acknowledges that if she will die, then let her death be a happy one. (okay, di ko to narinig ng maayos, pero mukhang tanggap na niya na mamatay siya). She prays that Tomas will be captured and justice be served to the kids he kidnapped. Then she questions whether Tomas' syndicate was involved with the people Ador was after.

Joaquin views Carmen's video camera of Cardo at the Ocean Park. He checks her family picture with Ador and Junior. If that wasn't enough, Joaquin tortures himself more as he watches Carmen's videoclip from yesterday's episode. He throws the phone away and continues to cry.

Lorenz and Banjo's group ride their motorcycles and travel to Cardo's house.

Cardo is getting dressed when hears a commotion outside. He exits his room to see Lola Flora and the rest of the family. Lorenz screams his name and fires gunshots at their house. Cardo tells everyone to duck and hold cover. Cardo crawls towards the door as Lola Flora etc. crawl towards Cardo's room. Some of Banjo's men manage to enter the house. Cardo fires gunshots at them. Realizing they're losing, Lorenz and the rest of the men drive away. Cardo shoots one who falls dead. He runs inside the house to look for his family.

When the police and neighbors gather outside their house, Cardo tells Delfin that the escaped inmates are responsible. Yolly recognizes Lorenz as the one Cardo sent to prison as a suspect for killing Ador. Lola is frantic. Delfin tells his sister to stay at his house until Banjo and his men are caught. Lola Flora agrees with his suggestion. Cardo looks grief-stricken for causing his family a lot of problems.

Allen drops his gun at the table and wonders how long will they help Lorenz now that two of their comrades have died. Banjo reminds him they knew they could die the moment they entered Dalisay's house. Lorenz pretends as if nothing wrong is happening.

Glen tries to call Cardo to no avail. Nanding asks how Cardo is doing. Glen replies he's not answering the phone. Brenda is worried that Glen might also be targeted because she was also involved with his case. Her family tries to persuade her to drop the case, but Glen tells them she will help Cardo after everything he had done for her.

Edgar tells his wife that he feels something is wrong with their daughter. Norma reminds him that the signal is poor in Bicol. She then calls Junior's attention and tells him to sleep. Junior doesn't want to sleep yet. His grandmother asks him what Carmen usually tells him about sleeping early. Ryan doesn't want to sleep early too. Edgar and Norma reprimand their youngest son and escort them to their rooms.

Joaquin is drinking by the pool. Tomas approaches his son. "You're right dad, we have to protect the family." Tomas whispers that tomorrow will be "The day". Verna walks by with tears in her eyes. Tomas notices and goes near her. He gently holds her shoulder. Verna feels her son's pain as she looks at him. Joaquin's fingers fidgets as he cries in pain.

Delfin serves his sister and reminds her not to go outside the house. Lola Flora is concerned about being unable to serve her constituents. Cardo assures her that they will understand her plight. When Elmo and Yolly arrive, Lola asks them how the people at the barangay are doing. The reply that they are worried for her. Onyok wants to return home. Cardo tells Onyok they need to stay with Lolo Delfin for their safety. Benny also tells Onyok that Delfin's house has airconditioning at may bantay.

Lolo Uncle tells Cardo and Benny that they will go to their office after breakfast. Lola tells Cardo to be safe. Cardo assures his Lola that their bad days will come to and end.

Verna visits her son inside his room. She removes the glass of rum in his hand. She apologizes to him because she pushed Carmen to him, hoping she would change him. Joaquin expresses that he never thought he could love like a woman like her... yet she never loved him. Joaquin laments that he will never change and that he will live for their family alone, nothing else. Verna embraces her son.

Cardo shows Delfin pictures of Banjo's men that he killed. He needs a tip to where they will find their hideout.

One of Banjo's men, Rey, delivers food to a room. He's actually bringing food to a wounded Charlie. Rey wants Charlie to leave, unless Banjo suspects of harboring him. Charlie says siya na ang bahala and exclaims that Lorenz is simply manipulating Banjo. He wants to earn Banjo's trust again and make Lorenz pay.

Delfin and Cardo plan to use Charlie and offer him protection, unless he's still alive.

Glen is talking with Cardo over the phone. She exclaims that Lorenz won't leave him alone. Cardo tells her that the CIDG is now holding the case. Jerome overhears her conversation (when Glen exclaims na mabuti at hawak na nila ang kaso). Benny also overhears the conversation and is excited to be part of Cardo's mission. He begs Cardo to take him. Cardo agrees and plans to take him home to guard Lola Flora.

Tomas asks Verna how their son is doing. She replies she doesn't want to see their son hurt and broken. Her husband assures her that Joaquin will move on. She tells him it's not easy to move on. Verna wonders how Carmen's family will accept her death, especially Cardo, whom she knows will never stop unless he knows the truth. Tomas guarantees Verna that they will never doubt that they were involved with Carmen's death.

.
Cardo sees Joaquin along the hospital’s corridors. Joaquin asks if he already knows about Lorenz. He offers to help Cardo because his family is also like “Family”. Cardo asks if he knows that Lorenz was responsible Lola’s hospitalization. Joaquin promises he will help Cardo, as long as he will tell him everything he knows about Lorenz. Junior sees Cardo and rushes to embrace him. Cardo advises his nephew to be safe. After their conversation, Joaquin excuses themselves to go home.

Glen calls Cardo to ask about Lola Flora. She advises him not to think too much about the case. But for Cardo, the case is personal. Once their conversation has ended, Cardo turns around to see Lolo Delfin. Delfin says her knows how he thinks. He promises to assign policemen to protect their family.
Carmen uses the blade to cut the ropes binding her hands. Tomas visits her. She is unable to hide her animosity towards him and tells him she knows his filth and threatens that Joaquin will capture him. Tomas, however, views his trade differently. He tells her he gives these children a new lease in life. Carmen doesn’t buy his bullshit. She demands if Joaquin knows about this. Tomas tells her that Joaquin knows their family business yet he has no idea that he kidnapped her.

Tomas asks his daughter –in-law if she is willing to overlook their family business and keep it a secret as a testament of her love for his son. Carmen violently screams that she never loved Joaquin. Tomas moves closer but pulls away when Carmen stab’s him with the blade. Crazed, Carmen yells why he’s not doing anything to kill her. Tomas’ men restrain her as she wails that Tomas will eventually be caught.

Lola and Yolly rejoice that her results reveal she has no injury. Cardo and Delfin visit her. Lola Flora tells them the result and wants to go home. She asks Delfin if they have a lead. She’s worried that those men might return to harm them. Cardo promises that he and Lolo Delfin won’t allow the incident to happen again.

Tomas is inside his office with his wife. His wound has already been bandaged. Verna asks how Carmen is doing. He bluntly tells her she refused to keep silent about their family secret. It’s now between Carmen and their family’s security. Verna plays her strong card that Joaquin won’t agree with him. She pleads to do something and give Carmen a chance. Instead, he hands her Carmen’s cellphone and explains it contains the reason why he needs to dispatch their daughter-in-law. Verna’s heart breaks when she sees a video where Carmen screams she never loved Joaquin.

Joaquin comes in and asks what happened to his father. He asks him if Lorenz wounded him.

Allen shows the gun he uses to kill some guy. Banjo exclaims he’s tired of snatching and wonders what it feels like to be a hired hitman. Allen asks if Lorenz killed a lot. Lorenz replies he did kill a lot of men. Charlie is pissed off and tells Lorenz what a brag he’s becoming. The tension between the two men escalate when Lorenz dumps the contents of Charlie’s bag, revealing several items belonging to Allen and Banjo. The men question how long Charlie has been stealing from them.
Charlie angrily rebuts their questions and asks whom they should trust, him or a newcomer like Lorenz?

Tomas hands Joaquin Carmen’s cellphone. He identifies it and asks why the phone is with him. His father reveals that he has been the one texting him all along. Joaquin asks where Carmen really is. Tomas honestly tells him that she’s not in Bicol and that he had to do “it”. Joaquin asks where he brought her. Tomas, however, asks him to read her unsent text message to Cardo  and reminds his son of the promise to protect their family.

Joaquin charges and grabs Tomas by his collars. He begs Tomas to spare Carmen’s life and promises he will do anything he wants. He pleads his father not to take away the woman he loves. Tomas understands Joaquin’s sentiments on how much he loves his wife, but he brutally tells him that Carmen never loved him. He instructs him to watch Carmen’s video clip.  Joaquin’s heart breaks as he watches the love of his life declare she never loved him. He drops the phone and cries as Verna consoles him. Tomas presents to Joaquin the facts: if he gives Carmen a chance to love, what will happen to their family, especially Rachel, when Carmen will definitely report the truth to the authorities.

Rigor invites Jerome for gym time. Jerome politely declines and asks Glen if he wants to go home with him. Glen declines because she’s checking over her files. Jerome asks if it’s still the case about riding in tandem. He suggests she investigate shops or people who make and sell fake plate numbers to track Banjo and his gang. Glen profusely thanks Jerome for his suggestion.

One of Banjo’s men asks Allen whether he believes that Charlie is indeed guilty. Banjo brings Lorenz and Charlie to a bar to settle their dispute.

Lola Flora finally arrives home. The family serve her dinner. Lola thanks everyone for their attentiveness. Onyok asks if the men in the motorcycles will return. Lola hopes not. Elmo tells everyone that he and Benny will join the patrol with the tanods. But Benny is hesitant because he wants to be punctual at his office. Cardo assures Lola Flora that Delfin will send police for protection. Yolly tells Lola they will overcome this challenge as they always do. Lola affirms Yolly’s statement.

Charlie throws an ultimatum: he will leave if Banjo trusts Lorenz more than him. Lorenz bluntly shares his experience with his previous employer: The men who leave are killed. The tension between them escalates. Banjo tells Charlie to drop the beer bottle’s he’s tightly gripping.
Cardo apologizes to Lola for being unable to protect her. Lola Flora understands that Cardo can’t be always there to protect her. Benny blames Elmo for not protecting Lola. Likewise, Elmo rebuts his accusation and they have a mini-argument. Lola Flora mentions that her phone is missing. Just then, Cardo’s phone rings and he’s surprised to see that Lola Flora’s phone is calling him!
Cardo excuses himself to answer the phone call. He asks the person on the other line if he knows Lorenz. Charlie tells Cardo that he needs something from him (like where he can find Lorenz). He asks Cardo how badly he wants to see Lorenz.

Cardo returns to the table and tells Lola Flora he needs to go outside. He instructs Benny to go with him.

Back at the bar, Banjo reminds them that their dispute will remain unsettled unless one of them confesses. Charlie is pissed off and the tension escalates for the third time.

Cardo and Benny arrive outside the bar Charlie tipped them. Benny is excited to find Lorenz. Cardo tells Benny that he’s destroying his “diskarte”.

Banjo follows Charlie outside the bar. He asks where he’s going. Charlie apologizes and says he has to leave their group.

Suddenly, Glen calls Cardo to tell him the plan Jerome proposed. Cardo tells her he’s doing important and immediately ends the call. Benny calls Cardo’s attention and points to the direction of Banjo and his men. Cardo makes eye contact with Lorenz who fires a shot at him. Cardo grabs his gun and exchanges gunshots with Banjo and his gang. Benny takes a gun and tries to help Cardo, unfortunately the group has escaped. Cardo takes the gun from Benny and tells him baliktad ang hawak niya sa baril.

Jerome interrogates every statement Benny makes. Benny tells him to questions Cardo instead. Glen asks if Cardo is alright. Jerome asks him what happened. Cardo replies that he got a tip that Lorenz and his men were at the bar. Jerome tells that Cardo that he should have had a dialogue with those men about it to avoid unnecessary death. Cardo looks displeased with Jerome’s statement.

Lorenz pours alcohol over his wound. Banjo affirms their suspicion that Charlie is indeed a traitor for tipping Cardo their whereabouts at the bar. It looks like Lorenz was right all along. He tells Lorenz that his fight is their fight as well.

Glen asks Cardo about Lorenz. He tells her one of Banjo’s men gave him the tip.

Back at Lola Flora’s house, Yolly asks Lola to rest and volunteer that they will wait for Cardo. When Cardo finally appears, Lola asks where he went to. Cardo lies and replies he had to take care of something.

Meanwhile, Lorenz and the other men are preparing their guns and molotovs.
Lola isn’t buying Cardo’s alibi. She already knows what Cardo is capable of and asks him if his “Something” involved the men who attacked her. Cardo confesses to her and narrates that some of the men died, while some lived. Onyok tells his tito Cardo to capture them.

Next:

Carmen asks if it was Tomas’ group that Ador went after.
Tomas questions her if she is ready to accept the truth.

Cardo vows to chase after the men responsible for hurting Lola Flora.

Jerome asks Glen if Cardo got the plate number of the riding in tandem. Glen replies that the plate numbers were fake ones. Rigor wonders kung trip lang ng mga riding in tandem. Glen suspects it's a deliberate act against Cardo and his family.Jerome questions Glen kung ganun karami ang pinakulong ni Cardo. Rigor tries to raise Jerome's confidence and believes he (jerome) can solve the riding in tandem case because of his achievements.

Dino and Greg ask Joaquin if he's available for a night out. They joke that it must be true love because he's starting to care for Ador's son. Joaquin texts Carmen that he misses and loves her. Tomas replies with "I love you." Dino asks why Joaquin made a face after reading Carmen's response.

Carmen is blindfolded lying on a bed inside a warehouse room. A man gives her food to eat. Tomas enters and removes her blindfold. Carmen is aghast to see it's her father-in-law. "Hayop ka, pakawalan mo ako, lagot ka kay Joaquin!" Tomas is nonchalant as Carmen tries to escape but the room is barricaded. He recalls his promise to Joaquin that he will not hesitate to kill Carmen when she discovers their family secret.

Cardo visits Glen at her station. She's shocked dahil nadamay si Lola Flora. She surmises how he will discover the culprit despite the fact na marami siyang nabangga. Cardo doesn't care.

Banjo asks if Lorenz is happy. Lorenz wants to see the frustrated expression on Cardo's face.

Cardo asks Glen for the files on the riding in tandem case. She refuses to hand him the files because it's their case. Jerome comes in and tells him riding in tandems doesn't involve big syndicates. He describes to him that these groups have their specialties. The one that Cardo encountered are simply snatchers. Cardo looks pissed off.

Norma: "Natikman niyo? O ang sarap diba?"

Cita and Verna gulp and tell them it is. (pero they never ate it dahil pinatapon ni Tomas). Norma tells Junior na dalawang araw na lang at uuwi na si Carmen.

Cita asks Verna kung bakit niya pinahihirapan ang sarili niya by visiting Carmen's family. Joaquin appears and inquires why they're here. Norma tells Joaquin she'll prepare food for him even if they already ate. Cita asks why Joaquin visited the Guzmans. Joaquin replies he doesn't want Carmen to think na pinababayaan niya si Junior. When Joaquin joins the other Guzmans, Verna excuses herself and tells Norma she'll be leaving early. She tries to hide her tears.

Cardo receives a text from Lorenz. He calls the number but Lorenz doesn't answer it.

Allen asks what Lorenz plans to do with his former boss. "Ako bahala. Magbabayad siya."

Jerome drives Glen home. She asks if he plans to purchase a house after seeing a brochure in his car. Jerome plans to save for a house since he & his mom live in a rental home. He wants to repay his mother and his uncle's goodness. Apparently, Jerome's uncle is an NYPD cop. Glen asks if his uncle is the reason why he became a policeman.

At the CIDG boardroom, Cardo presents to everyone that Lorenz' body wasn't found among the burned bodies. He suspects that the ones helped Banjo and Lorenz escape are connected with Diego's group. He tells them na ganun din ang modus na ginamit para makatakas si Diego in route to Muntinlupa Bilibid Prison. However Delfin reminds Cardo that they cannot handle the case unless it's proven that a syndicate is involved.

Joaquin enters his room and inspects his drawer. He takes out Carmen's family picture with Ador and Junior.

Inside his office, Delfin tells Cardo he has no proof that Lorenz is really connected with the riding in tandem. Cardo reminds him na marami siyang nakabangga. Delfin reminds him that Station 1 currently handles the case. Cardo is impatient. Lolo Uncle asks what his plan is. Cardo responds he will return Lorenz to jail.

Dino calls Joaquin and informs him that Lorenz has escaped. Joaquin tries to make his escape insignificant. Dino makes it clear to him that Joaquin and his family is Lorenz's next target  (after targeting Cardo's family).

A weary Tomas arrives at his house. Joaquin tells him they have a problem--- Lorenz Gabriel.

Glen asks Brenda where their parents are. As she goes outside to look for them, Yolly and Nanding appear. Glen reminds them it's not safe to go outside especially when an inmate escaped. The family, however, is much more interested about her involvement with Jerome.

Tomas thinks Cardo's suspicion is wrong. Lorenz must be asking for a death wish if he decides to against the Tuazons. Joaquin reminds him that they need to take precaution esp. with Diego's case. Tomas says Joaquin should deal with it since Lorenz was his goon. Joaquin tells him that Cardo is also after Lorenz. Lorenz might spill their secret if Cardo catches him. Tomas sharply retorts that Joaquin should capture Lorenz first. He then changes the topic to Carmen. Once more, he asks what will Joaquin do if Carmen discovers their family secret. Joaquin shrugs off the topic.

Meanwhile, Carmen is locked up and tied up.

Verna pleads Tomas not to harm Carmen unless Joaquin discovers what he has done. Tomas cannot forgive himself if something bad happens to his family. Verna enumerates the possible scenarios if he does kill Carmen. Tomas downplays her concern. "Police ang anak mo." Verna raises the possibility that Joaquin might refuse to cooperate with him. Tomas tells his wife that Joaquin promised to protect their family.

Carmen notices a blade on the floor. She tries to get it. Hindi ako magpapatalo kay Tomas. Ibubunyag ko ang lahat ng kahayupan mo.

Cardo returns to Lola Flora and the rest of the family. "Anong sinabi ko sa iyo, onyok?"

Onyok looks at an enraged Cardo. "Huwag sugod ng sugod."

The rest of the family discuss kung sino sila, kung nahabol ba ni Cardo etc. "Baka nagloloko lang."

Back at their hideout, Lawrence warns them na mag-ingat kay Cardo kahit solo siya. Blah blah blah blah. They say they can always trust Banjo because of what he did to Allen.  May flashback na nabaril si Banjo sa paa dahil hinayaan niyang makatakas si Allen pagkatapos mahulog ang motor. "Nahuli si Banjo dahil sa akin." Allen remarks.

Benny calls everyone's attention. "Kanina pa pala umaaligid yung mga nakamotor at nagmamasid." It turns out that even one of the Brgy Kagawads noticed them but kept mum about it dahil akala niya "wala lang".

Lawrence tells them he isn't finished with Cardo's family.

At the Guzman household, Joaquin tells Junior na susunduin niya siya bukas at ihahatid kay Lola Flora. Junior asks why Carmen never answered her phone. Norma guarantees they will call her later. Junior says goodbye to his daddy as Norma escort him upstairs. Edgar asks kung wala silang problem ni Carmen. Joaquin tells him "wala naman."

Carmen is still at the garden and types her sms to Cardo about her discovery. Tomas sneaks behind and covers her mouth with something. She falls unconscious.

Tomas shows Verna the CCTV footage. He also gives her Carmen's phone. Verna reads the unsent SMS. Tomas tells her his fears has finally come true. Verna wants to talk to her. Tomas is surprised, "talk to her?" Verna asks what he plans to do with her.

"Ako na bahala kay Carmen. Ako na bahala kay Joaquin."

Allen tells Banjo na sobra na ang tulong nila kay Lawrence. "Dalawang pulis na ang mababangga natin." Allen adds that he deeply owes Banjo his life. Lawrence presents himself and tells them he doesn't want to be a burden. He admits he can't do it alone and is ready to help them. Banjo orders  Jordan Herrera (di ko pa alam name niya) na siya ang magiging partner ni Lawrence.

Joaquin is outraged and finds it difficult to believe that Carmen left at such a short notice. Tomas reminds his son that maybe she still distrusts him. Joaquin doesn't buy it and tries to call Carmen. Verna and Tomas can't look at their own son in the eyes.

As the go back to Tomas office, Verna pleads her husband where he hid Carmen. Tomas asks if she wants to save her. Verna wants to talk to Carmen to silence. "What if Joaquin knows? We don't know what he'll do!" She's scared na baka mag-wala ang anak niya. Tomas reminds her that he already informed Joaquin what he would do if Carmen discovered the truth. "kasalanan niya ito". Verna doesn't budge and begs him to think his decision over. "Maraming magduda sa iyo kung biglang mawawala si Carmen!"

Somewhere out there.... an unconscious Carmen is driven off to somewhere.

Glen vists Onyok at their house. She's worried about him. Onyok says he' s lucky dahil naka-ilag siya. He tells Glen he already promised Cardo and Lola Flora na mag-iingat siya.

Meanwhile, Lawrence and Jordan Herrera continue to snatch bags nearby an ATM machine.

Cardo calls Benny to hurry dahil mala-lat sila. They joke how he looks like an executive.

Onyok tells Benny na siya ang bahala kay Lola Flora. Cardo pats the kid's head, "Tama, kaya 'wag matigas ang ulo!"

Glen says farewell to Lola as they leave.

Cardo brings Benny to the CIDG. Benny thinks he's going to do administrative work and suggests that baka yung umaaligid sa bahay nila eh dating criminal na nahuli ni Cardo at gustong bumawi. Cardo shrugs him off and goes somewhere. A policeman walks by Benny.

"Ba't nandito ka? May kaso ka na naman siguro, no."

Benny tells the police he's there as an employee. As the policeman leaves, Cardo appears with another guy. Cardo tells the man Benny is the one he's referring too. Benny is excited to do his first mission. Cardo shatters his dreams when he tells Benny he's going to work as a janitor.

Back at the hideout, Jordan praises Lawrence's idea of targeting people near ATM machines. Allen finally accepts him the their gang.

Benny serves Cardo a cup of coffee. Cardo answers Lola Flora's phone (nasa palengke pala sila). She asks him kung may balita na sa mga gumugulo sa kanila at kung kamusta na si Benny. She hands the phone to Onyok. Cardo tells them to take care. He hears someone whistle. Nag-pito pala si Onyok kasi akala niya may riding in tandem. Suddenly, Banjo and Lawrence zoom near Lola and punch her (okay, di ako sigurado kung sinuntok. basta may ginaawa kay Lola). Napatumba si Lola!

Cardo hears the commotion over his phone. Onyok tries to chase the riding in tandem, but Elmo restrains him.

#FPJAPEskapo Episode 130

The Gwaping Escaped!

March 30, 2016

At their charity event, Verna pulls Tomas aside and narrates Junior's observation on the discrepancy between his treatment of the orphanage kids and him (Junior).  She requests if Tomas can be more friendly to the boy. Tomas tells her she asks too much from him. Verna counters that it's one way to make sure that Carmen's suspicion of him lessens.

Back the Bikers Hideout, the Alex Medina presents the loot they robbed from yesterday's episode. He takes out a map and they discuss their plan to bust Banjo from BJMP van.

Cardo and the rest of the CIDG (except for Joaquin and co.) discuss their plans to capture the child trafficking syndicates. As they execute their plan, Cardo notices a white van and trails after it when he sees children on-board.

Back at Delfin's office, Lolo uncle informs Joaquin to provide back-up for the van Cardo's chasing after.

Cardo and Co. manage infiltrate the hideout but discover it's empty. Just as they're about to leave, they hear the cries behind a door. Cardo opens it to reveal about more than a dozen children inside. Cardo and company bring the kids outside.

Outside the hideout, a policeman reports to Joaquin that the children are secured. Cardo emerges carrying a girl. A policewoman takes her from him. Cardo sadly tells Joaquin that the syndicates escaped even if they saved the children.

At the Jail, Banjo asks Lawrence a bunch of questions. Lawrence doesn't want to stay long inside the jail because he wants to have revenge. Banjo casually tells him he knows people whom he can hire to do the dirty job. Lawrence declines when Banjo tells him the payment fee (because he doesn't have that much money)

At QCPD, Glen and the other policemen are briefed that SPO2 Jerome Geron will be part of their team. Glen looks impressed and asks if he is the same police who solved the Car ChopChop Case in Malabon. Rigor doubts his achievement, but Glen continues to sing praises for him. Jerome finally appears and greets everyone. Glen introduces herself and shakes hands with him. Pa-epal din si Rigor dahil pinakilala at nakipag-shake hands din kay Jerome.

Rigor and Glen observe Jerome as he sets his table. Rigor tells Glen he's an "OC". Glen defends him as Rigor tries to bring him down. "Maayos ang gamit, maayos na?" "Hindi mo naisip na baka magaling siya dahil metikuloso siya?"

Jerome approaches them and asks if Glen was the one who reported the riding-in-tandem case. Glen confirms his question. Jerome offers to help her after reviewing the case. He cites his experience how he cracked the chop chop case.

Delfin and Carreon congratulate Cardo. However, Cards is unhappy (either di nahuli ang syndicate, or konti lang ang nailigtas na mga bata). Carreon reminds he that he can't save them all.

Joaquin calls his father. "Tell your men to be careful next time". Tomas thanks him for the tip, yet he warns Joaquin of Carmen, and Joaquin to be wary of him (Tomas) because of what he might do to his daughter-in-law.

Junior and Joaquin are having lunch/dinner with the Guzmans. Carmen is not present. Junior narrates his experience at the Tuazon's charity event. Norma praises her grandson. "It's good to help other people."Joaquin tells his stepson that Junior can be present for the next charity event. Billy adds that they (at the PNP) can coordinate with Joaquin's family for their outreach activities. Edgar is mum all throughout the exchange.

Once Joaquin and Junior leaves, Edgar questions his wife whether Joaquin and Carmen will have another problem. Norma replies that Joaquin promised to change. Edgar doesn't buy it. "He promised to love and take care of Junior. Look what happened. He broke his promise once. He can break it again." Norma tries to persuade her hisband. "I can only give him another chance." Edgar remains unconvinced. "Sana hindi magbubulagbulagan si Carmen."

Cardo visits Glen at her office. She congratulates him for his achievement. Rigor sneers and jokes to have his achievements framed and points to a framed newspaper article with Jerome's picture.Glen introduces Cardo when Jerome appears. Gerome  asks if there's a CIDG-related case in the precinct. Glen tells him there's none and that Cardo's there to visit them. With his curiosity appeased, Gerome ignores Cardo and  hands Glen Banjo Moreno's profile.

Back at the jail, Banjo has an altercation with another inmate. Lawrence defends him.

Jerome describes that Banjo was an excellent motorcylclist involved with robbery and drugs. Rigor asks how he was captured despite his motorcylcling skills. He tells Rigor Banjo was captured when he tried to protect his comrade. Cardo guarantees he will help Glen solve the case. Jerome thanks him yet politely tells Cardo they can handle the case. Cardo excuses to leave. Rigor gloats. "Paganda ng paganda 'to ah!" An annoyed Glen hushes him.

Lawrence and Banjo are handcuffed with the same handcuff. They climb inside the Bureau of Jail and Management Penology (BJMP) van.

At Lola Kap's dining room, Onyok tells Lola Flora that he will accompany Junior the next Orphanage they'll visit. Yolly adds that Onyok had a long telephone conversation with Junior. They praise Onyok's eagerness to help the orphanage children. Yok asks if he can visit Junior. Cardo replies there's nothing wrong with his request, but they should ask Joaquin first. Onyok exclaims he will look for toys to give.

Elmo asks if Joaquin is okay. Benny quickly defends Joaquin and says he's okay. Yolly raises her eyebrows. "Ang bilis mo naman maka-depensa Benny". Lola Flora reminds everybody to pray for Joaquin and his family's happiness (and theirs as well).

Meanwhile, Alex Medina and his gang of riders are getting ready to implement their plans. Banjo keeps looking outside as the van travels. Medina stop by bridge and keep their eyes for Banjo's van. He tells Jordan Herrera to have patience. The van finally appears in sight!

As it passes through the underpass, a car blocks its path and rains it with gunshots. The BJMP personnel are shot dead. Banjo leaves the van and hops on a motorcycle. Lawrence hops outside and looks confused. When he notices a guard is still alive, he grabs the police's gun and shoots him. Banjo hands him a helmet and they ride away. The van explodes from a dropped Molotov.

At their hideout, Lawrence observes as tthe people rejoice that Banjo finally escaped. Banjo tells everyone they have a new "brad" and calls Lawrence to come forward. A guy in a black sando approaches him, "Welcome to the club!"

Nanding visits Glen at her office and gives her merienda. Glen comments that her mother sent him to monitor her. Nanding tells his daugher how Lolit's trust in Cardo slightly diminished because of what happened. Glen tells her dad that her trust in him won't vanish.

Benny frantically calls everyone to watch the tv news: A cctv footage caught Banjo's escape and the van's explosion. Yolly comments how "OA maka-react si Benny". Lola Flora tells her it's for their benefit to know what's happening.

Lola Flora gathers some people outside her home. She instructs them to lock their houses. Glen adds to report any suspicious men they see riding motorcycles. The people thank Lola Flora for her concern. Cardo does not look happy.

Back at the hideout, the guy in the black sando tell that they aren't wanted (Because si Banjo lang) and how lucky Lawrence is because his disappearance wasn't reported. Nevertheless, they're happy that Banjo is back.

Glen pulls Cardo aside. She asks him if Banjo belongs to the same Riding in Tandem Group. Cardo tells her to be safe because he is.

Lawrence thanks everyone for their support. Banjo promises they will help and support him.

At her office, Glen calls Cardo to inform him they spread Banjo's pictures. Jerome overhears their conversation. He stands up and tell her she's a good friend. Glen recounts that she grew up with Cardo in Botolan and treats him like a sibling. Rigor suddenly sings the chorus of "Kaibigan lang Pala". Glen glares at him.

Rigor stops singing, stands up and tells Jerome that Cardo is like an honorary member of their precinct. "Medyo nakakatulong dito."

 Glen raises her brows."Medyo?"

He clarifies his statement."Medyo nakakatulong, kadalasan nakikialam."

Good friend Glen defends him and informs Jerome of the many cases Cardo solved.

Mark and Lester discuss that two people actually escaped. It would take days to identify the badly burned bodies. Cardo sits down and stares at Banjo's good-profile.

#FPJAPPahamak Episode 128

Cardo finally rescues Junior... but where is Glen?

March 23, 2016

Lola and Yolly are setting the altar. Onyok asks what they're doing. Lola Flora says they are preparing for the "Pabasa". Yolly and Lola Flora take turns to explain it to him.

Glen and Cardo are welcomed into Ivan's home. The men lead them to his office. Ivan greets and motions them to sit down. Glen apologizes for the urgent appointment. The doctor understands the urgency and requests for their son's medical records.

Dino reports to Joaquin and tells him to stop looking for Tony. Joaquin snaps and grabs him by the collar. Dino speculates that Tony is probably at Punta Roa.

Cardo darts glances around the office. Ivan asks him if he's looking for something. Cardo replies no and says he's thinking of his son. He asks Ivan if there already is a donor. Ivan says they will talk about it later.

Jordan is unconscious and intubated inside a hospital room (ICU?). Belinda watches her son from the viewing glass outside his room. Crying, she asks the doctor how her son is. The doctor apologizes and tells her Jordan needs to undergo a kidney transplant. Belinda cries that she doesn't want to lose him, "He's all I have!". The doctor embraces and comforts Belinda.

In Junior's bedroom, Carmen is crying & praying to God that her son will be saved. She prays that she won't lose her son too.

Belinda now dons a hair cap, face mask and a gown (yung ginagamit during operation) and prays to God. She questions why God allowed her husband to die and allowed her son to be sick. However, she believes that everything happens for a reason. She pleads that God take her life instead, as long as He helps her son.

Lola Flora leads the Pasion and surrenders Junior's safety and protection to God. She also prays that He lead Cardo to Junior.

Ivan shows them his facility. Once more, Cardo asks about the donor. Ivan tells him the transplant needs to undergo many tests and procedures. He needs to ensure the probable donors and their child are matched.

Glen takes his cue on "probable donors" and asks if he has a lot to choose. Ivan tells her it's his problems. He changes the topic and wants to talk about the expenditures. Cardo and Glen tell him it's not a problem. Ivan reminds the couple he doesn't want the police to know about their transaction--for his and his team's safety.

Back in the van, the police utter his statements could incriminate him. Billy says they need to wait until Junior's safety is secured.

Ivan threatens the couple that they are liable once the police is involved. Cardo and Glen pretend to look concerned. He then invites them to have dinner. Once seated, Glen asks if the donors are sent to his facility. Ivan replies no and refocuses the topic to their son's history.

Slightly shaken, Glen makes up a story and tells him their son is sickly and is easily fatigued. Cardo adds to her stories and says they will do anything to make their child live.

A male nurse brings Junior a tray of food. Junior asks for milk. Just as the nurse turns his back, Junior kicks him in the back and runs away to bang the door for help. The nurse grapples with Junior. He manages to bite the nurse and escape his room. However, a goon blocks Junior's path and returns him to his room. Junior's loud cries reach the people at the dining hall.

Glen asks Ivan if he has a son. He replies no and politely excuses himself to make a phone call.

Junior puts a fight as the men restrain him.

Ivan calls Tony and tells his suspicions about the couple. He plans to leave and instructs him to watch the car outside. Ivan returns to the couple and apologizes that he has to leave to attend a patient. He tells them he'll return to them.

Junior continues to bang the door and screams for help.

Cardo asks to go to the comfort room. The goon leads him there. Meanwhile, Glen asks the nurse for water.

The police inside the van warn Cardo to be careful. Cardo tries to go upstairs, but the goon redirects him. Just as he's about to enter the comfort room, he punches and knocks down the goon. He takes his gun and proceeds to look for Junior.

Glen stands up and goes outside.

Junior falls to his knees, "Pakawalan niyo ako"

Glen grabs her gun from her sling bag. Cardo hears Junior's cries and inspects the nearest door. He goes to the next one and tries to open it when he hears Junior on the other side. Suddenly, he retreats and hides. The nurse and the goon who restrained Junior appear. Cardo knocks the goon unconscious and demands the keys from the nurse. He knocks him down too and proceeds to open the door. Junior runs and tightly embraces his tito Cardo.

Now that Junior is secured, the police begin to move and infiltrate Ivan's residence.

Glen is caught off-guard when Ivan covers her mouth with a handkerchief. She faints and he carries her off.

As the police begin to make their way, Cardo shoots several men (including Tony). Junior sticks close to him. The other policemen also open fire and capture several of Ivan's goons. As these goons are brought outside, Junior is reunited with his uncle Billy.

Cardo asks where the doctor is. They reply the couldn't find him. They then ask for Glen's whereabouts. Cardo replies they got separated. The police rummage the house to look for her.

Joaquin arrives and approaches Junior. Frightened, Junior backs away and tightly embraces tito Cardo. Billy and Cardo glare at him. Unsure of what to do, Joaquin mutters he's glad Junior's safe. He thanks Cardo for saving him.

The police return and tell him it's negative: they can't find Glen. Junior asks Cardo where she is. A black van suddenly runs off. The police try to shoot it down. Ivan is driving the vehicle. Glen is still unconscious at the backseat.

Cardo grabs one of the goon's collar and demands where he took her. The man replies he's going to his father's house in Antipolo, Ilocos. Impatient, Cardo rushes to an empty police car and chases Ivan's black van.

Joaquin tries to take Junior home, but Billy cuts him off. "Ako muna bahala sa pamangkin ko." Joaquin looks at them and replies, "sige. ingat na lang kayo."

As the police inspect Ivan's house, Joaquin notices Tony's dead body lying on the floor.

Back in Glen's household, Brenda shows her parents a dress she thinks suits Glen's role as Cardo's wife. Nanding and Lolit question her, "baka magka-pneumonia siya". Nanding asks where Glen is. Lolit replies she's not answering her calls. Brenda reminds them she's probably busy with her mission. She reminds them that she's safe because Cardo is with her.

Junior questions his uncle Billy why he was brought to the DSWD. He wants to be reunited with his mother. Billy tells him that Carmen will be arriving soon. He informs Junior he needs to undergo some tests. Junior is startled when a social workers appears. She assures him there's no need to be afraid. Joaquin tells Junior that he's there for him as well.

Ivan tells himself how stupid he is. His auditory hallucinations attack as he drives.

Cardo recalls his conversation with Glen and her comment that he won't let her be harmed.

Ivan arrives at his destination and takes an unconscious Glen inside the abandoned house. After several minutes/hours, Cardo arrives and inspects the van to find it empty.

Glen is lying on a surgeon's table in one of Ivan's facilities. She slowly regains consciousness. Cardo makes his way inside the abandoned mansion. Meanwhile, Glen tries to see her surroundings as Ivan makes his way to her.

Cardo finally sees Ivan's silhouette and Glen on stapped to the table.
