Glen's last hope is shot dead.
A Doctor who's not in the right-mind is actually the mastermind for this arc.
March 9, 2016
(Late ako ng ilang seconds. Looks like I missed some conversations. But I guess it's not detrimental. I can still see some of the credits as I write on my notepad)
Looking glum, Junior asks Carmen if she really will marry
Joaquin. Carmen nods. You can’t erase the unhappiness in her face. Junior asks
if his grandparent agree with their marriage. Man, you can see the indecision
and uncertainty in Norma and Edgar’s faces!
In the cemetery, Joaquin promises to Ador he will take care
of the family he left. Junior apologizes to his father that he has a new dad,
but promises he will not forget him. We can hear Joaquin gloating that he has
finally triumphed over Ador and his twin, saying he can’t climb from his grave to
do anything now that he has obtained his family.
(Such evilness, Joaquin! Makabwisit!)
Glen and Rigor are standing outside their station when she
notices one of the kidnappers across the street. She grabs her gun and points
it at him. The man rushes forward and surrenders himself.
Fernan reports to Thomas that he has killed the two men, but
couldn’t contact the remaining one. Bad trip si Albert Martinez sa sagot niya.
He tells Fernan they are in danger unless the guy is killed.
Glen and Rigor interrogate the kidnapper, who promises to
tell everything about the syndicate and the leader in exchange for protection.
Rigor questions the sincerity of his decision, but the kidnapper says he has
nothing to lose because he will be killed.
At the canteen, Billy congratulates Joaquin about their
impending marriage. He laments he wasn’t in their house to know about it. He
finds it strange Carmen never mentioned about it, even though they were talking
together the previous night. Joaquin tells him they told the family just this
morning. Billy calls Joaquin “bayaw”, and Joaq’s friends toast to celebrate.
Cardo walks and Joaquin informs him about the marriage.
Cardo looks taken aback. He tells Joaquin he can’t do anything if it is okay
with Carmen and Junior. They shake hands again and Cardo extends his
congratulations. His cellphone rings and he answers it. Glen informs his to
visit their station since the kidnapper finally surrendered and has given a
statement. Joaquin asks what the conversation was all about, and Cardo spills
the beans.
The prodigal son calls his father to inform him about the
kidnapper in Glen’s precint. Thomas dispatches Fernan and his men to eliminate
him. He thanks his son for the tip.
Fernan and his goons grab their guns and wear hoodies (yung
tinatakip para di malaman ang mukha) and drive outside Glen’s police station.
Glen and Cardo are escorting the kidnapper when Fernan rains bullets on them.
Cardo fights back and we have a shootout! Fernan escapes—he has succeeded. Glen
calls Cardo’s attention because their sole witness is shot dead.
Glen and Cardo are talking outside her house. He asks if she
is okay. Glen replies she’s sad to lose a comrade and their witness who could
divulge the leader of the syndicate they’re after. Cardo assures her (again, as
usual) that the syndicate will be caught, but Glen wonders when that day will
be. Cardo promises they won’t stop until the children are saved and the
syndicate is caught.
The father and son are sitting at the backseat of their car.
Thomas thanks his son for the tip. Joaquin reminds him he promised Thomas he
would not turn back from his responsibilities from the business.
But Thomas says he still will, referring to Carmen. Joaquin
blows up and tells his dad he won’t let Carmen affect the family business.
Thomas, keeping his cool, reminds Joaquin that Carmen is the wife of the man he
killed. “I hope you didn’t forget that.” He tells his son. “Sana pinag-isipan
mo yun.” Joaquin tells his dad everything will be okay and that he’s sure that Carmen loves him, especially when she said yes. Thomas looks sits back, exasperated over Joaquin’s
revelation.
(Good thing Thomas remembers!.I thought the writers had
forgotten that Joaquin killed Ador.)
Glen and Cardo’s conversation about the killed witness is
cut short when her dad comes out to greet them. The rest of Glen’s family come
out as well and ask why the returned late. Glen looks like she doesn’t want to
tell the truth. Cardo covers up for her and tells them nothing serious
happened. They just had a little problem at the station. Glen assures her
family she’s okay. She asks them if they can serve Cardo food since he hadn’t
eaten yet.
Thomas asks Joaquin what would happen if Carmen knew the
truth. He bluntly tells his son that when that day comes, he will not hesitate
to kill her. Thomas tells his son and hopes he understand his decision.
A dejected-looking Carmen is sitting beside Junior in their room. She gazes
at her wedding picture with Ador (reminiscing the good times Carmen?). Junior
does not fail to notice his mother’s sadness and asks why she looks sad. She
tells him she’s not and changes the topic, asking if Junior is unhappy with her
decision. Brave little Junior answers he’s okay with her decision, as long as
if they love and are happy with each other.
Thomas tells Verna he gives up on Joaquin, who has finally
decided to marry Carmen. Verna reminds Thomas that he is just like Joaquin.
Thomas cannot accept Carmen and likens her to a ticking time bomb. Verna tries to placate her husband and tells
him it is better if Carmen stays in their house. In that way, she can ensure
Carmen doesn’t know the family secret.
(Bigla kong naalala ang "Nasaan ka Elisa?" Puno rin ng sikreto ang pamilyang yun!)
(Bigla kong naalala ang "Nasaan ka Elisa?" Puno rin ng sikreto ang pamilyang yun!)
Edgar enters Carmen’s room and sits by their bed. She
apologizes to him as tears begin to fall from her eyes. Edgar becomes
teary-eyed too and hugs his daughter. Carmen’s tears start to heavily pour as
she embraces her father.
Cardo and Glen go outside to have another talk. He tells her
they will begin to investigate the families vulnerable to be approached by the
syndicate. Glen offers to help him. Cardo tells her he thinks of the lives of
the kids. He tells her to go inside the house and rest since it’s late. Glen
follows and closes the gate. They stare for 5 seconds or so and Cardo nods she
go inside. Camera pans to a serious looking Cardo. What could he be thinking?
Lola Kap thanks the newly-engaged couple for informing them
about their decision. She questions the finality of their decision. Carmen
doesn’t talk here. Joaquin answers it’s final, telling Lola Carmen knows
everything about him. There was no need to prolong anything, hence they decided
to marry. Lola gently informs Joaquin that Junior needs someone will love and
treat him as a real son. She adds that she will always be Junior’s lola, and
reminds Joaquin that they too, are Junior’s family.
Everyone is gathered outside the Lola Kap’s house. Onyok exclaims that Junior finally has 2 fathers. Benny remarks how lucky Junior will be since he will be provided with the material things he wants. Yolly strikes at Benny and says love is more important than material objects. Elmo supports Yolly and exclaims Junior needs to be loved the same way Ador and Cardo loves him.
Cardo tells Junior he can always visit and call him when he feels sad. Junior asks Cardo if he will tell him to be nice, but Cardo laughs and points out that Junior is a nice kid. He reminds him to be safe because times are dangerous. Junior tells him Tito Joaquin has already told him.

Cardo turns his attention to Joaquin and tells him to treat
Junior like a real son.
Junior exclams to everyone he feels safe with Cardo and Lola Kap’s
family. Cardo hugs him nephew and reminds him again of his safety and of how
much they love him. Cardo glances at Joaquin who nods back at him. Carmen and
Lola Kap are wearing such sad expressions on their faces.
Onyok, Benny and Elmo approach and inform Cardo they will
patrol the streets. Cardo tells Onyok to stay inside the house.
Joaquin and Carmen finally have their civil wedding. His family
is nowhere in sight. Poor Carmen! She looks the most beautiful yet unhappiest
bride on her wedding day. A stark contrast to her wedding with Ador. Joaquin
replies “I do” to the judge, but when Carmen is asked, she looks back to her
son who nods (to say yes?) She looks at
Joaquin and murmurs “I do”. The judge finally pronounces them man and wife and
exclaims the dreaded “You may kiss the bride”. Their entourage claps as Joaquin
kisses Carmen. Carmen STILL looks unhappy. Her family STILL looks unhappy. The
only ones happy in the room are Joaquin and his friends. The couple, the
Guzmans and Joaquin’s friends sign papers, as the Judge’s voices over in the
background, talking about the duties of married couple to another and the
sanctity of marriage.
(Mas okay na rin na they had a Civil Wedding over a Military One! Jusmio, di ko ma-imagine ang mukha ni Carmen habang lumalakad papuntang altar)

Edgar finally asks Billy where Joquin’s family is. Norma
tells her husband and son that Carmen isn’t telling anything.
Thomas and Verna are standing in one of their rooms. Both of them are drinking wine. He toasts and Verna asks to
whom it is for. “For our son, Joaquin”, he replies. Verna pleads they attend
Joaquin’s wedding reception. Thomas rebuts “Why? To show that we welcome her to
the family?” Verna reminds her husband they both need their son and walks out.
Defeated, Thomas sits down and finally admits Verna is right. Thomas realizes
he needs his son for the protection of the family business. But he also
realizes they (Thomas’ family) need to protect Joaquin from Carmen.
As the show’s theme song plays in the background, a sullen
Glen and Cardo are looking at the profiles of the missing children. Cardo looks
as if he’s thinking of something (baka dahil hindi ka invited sa kasal nila
Carmen?)
Norma questions Joaquin whether his parents will attend the
receptions. He answers his parents have something important to attend. Joaquin’s
buddies tease him that he’s calling Norma “Ma”, but hastily leaves when she
reacts to Joaquin’s answer.
Norma is incredulous! “More important than your wedding
day!?” She drops the bomb on Joaquin and asks if the Tuazons are really okay
with their marriage. Joaquin tells her that Verna has agreed, but his father is
still be convinced. He assures his mother-in-law that knowing his father,
Thomas will change his mind.
Yolly, Elmo, Benny and Onyok wonder why they were not
invited to Carmen’s wedding. Lola Kap plays it safe. “At least they came here
to seek my benediction, even if there was no need to.” She tells them that
event is between Carmen and Joaquin’s family. Onyok innocently asks if they are
not part of Carmen’s family. Lola Kap changes the topic and asks them instead
to pray for their happy union.
Cardo reports to Delfin about their strategy to investigate
the rich families who seek the help of the syndicate. Cardo notes desperation
drives these families to seek illegal organ dealers. But he discounts it and
says their actions give the syndicate a reason to target children for their
organs. Delfin mentions that they must have a medical team to perform the organ
extractions. Cardo agrees that Doctors may be involved.
A doctor is reporting to Eric Quizon, about the results of
the tissue cross-match .There’s a voice over in this scene where we learn Eric
is Dr. Ivan Gomez. His medical license was revoked due to malpractice (didn’t hear
it correctly. Basta it was revoked) and isn’t allow to practice medicine.
Delfin tells Cardo whoever is doing this trade is not an
ordinary man, but a crazy one.
Next:
Magho-honeymoon na ata si Carmen and Joaquin. (not sure ha.)
Cardo and Glen have their moment (actually naguusap lang sila), but cocobels rejoice!
It looks like Glen will walk in as Cardo and Carmen are talking to one another! ()Now that's a scene we're looking forward too!)
Same old scenes are played in the trailer for tomorrow's show.
Thanks for the daily recap.
